Our client, a leader in financial software is hiring a BI Reporting Analyst to join their team in Mountain View, CA - San Diego, CA - Plano, TX! You will have the opportunity to work a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

Our Client is looking for a passionate, data-driven Staff level Analyst to join the Talent Acquisition Data and Programs team. We are looking for an individual who will play an analytically consultative role to inform our talent and business decisions and improve the way we identify, attract, develop, and retain talent. Our Talent Acquisition Data and Programs team is crucial in enabling our executives and recruiting leaders to make data-driven decisions, and you will play an important role in addressing the data and analytical needs of our recruiting team and business leaders across the globe. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Data and Programs team, this role will collaborate with business stakeholders, recruiting team members, and other end users to create high-value and intuitive data visualizations and storytelling.

Contract Duration: 12 months (possibility to extend)
Locations: Mountain View, CA OR San Diego, CA OR Plano, TX (hybrid schedule)

Required Skills and Experience:
  • 5-10 years related work experience - people analytics, finance, or related field
  • Expert in Data Visualization tools - the ability to utilize large datasets to build reports and dashboards
  • Fluency in SQL and working with large data sets/data warehousing? Experience with Alteryx or other data preparation tools
  • Experience building in app reports in Applicant Tracking Systems (Avature Preferred)
  • Expert Excel data modeling and analysis skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management


What You Will Be Doing
  • Design and maintain automated dashboards for key metrics reporting across Talent Acquisition using Data Visualizations tools (such as Tableau, Quicksight), and extract the insights that will have the biggest impact, and be comfortable with sharing a narrative that complements the data
  • Create custom reports and in app reporting within Talent Acquisition Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to enable self serve reporting options for Talent Acquisition delivery team members
  • Design, analysis, and interpretation of projects from data requirement gathering to data processing, prototyping, modeling, and recommendations Identify opportunities for improvement and streamline processes through automation and leveraging technology
  • Communicate project status, progress, risks and updates to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Ability to segment large data sets and extract data from data warehouses using SQL, Alteryx, Excel, Google Sheets, and other business intelligence tools
  • Manipulate and combine data sets coming from disparate data sources using data transformation tools such as Alteryx, SAS, Power Query, Data Bricks, etc.
  • Demonstrate extreme ownership in partnership with stakeholders in the business and the broader team (Talent Acquisition Leaders, Recruiters, Sourcers) to ultimately improve the customer experience
  • Analyze data according to appropriate quantitative and qualitative methods, and partner with other TA program teams as the subject matter expert for all things TA data
  • Gather, compile, and validate supporting data for operational metric reporting, and provide commentary around insights and trends that drive business performance
  • Continually evaluate and refine analytical approaches, processes, tools, and operations to ensure the team is providing the highest level of impact Deliver ad hoc and special projects based on changing business needs and company priorities
