Evolver Federal is seeking a SharePoint Technical Lead with a focus on Computer Systems Engineering & Architecture to satisfy a requirement for a potential government client.

Responsibilities

The Technical Lead - Computer Systems Engineer/Architect will serve as a strategic leader in the implementation and evolution of enterprise collaboration platforms, with a focus on O365 SharePoint Online and related intranet technologies. This role is responsible for overseeing web content migration efforts, ensuring the development of clear and comprehensive technical documentation, and aligning all solutions with federal and industry standards. The Technical Lead will work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable, secure, and user-friendly technical solutions, while also mentoring team members and promoting best practices across the development lifecycle.

In this capacity, the Technical Lead will evaluate and communicate technical approaches, highlighting potential risks and tradeoffs to support informed decision-making. A strong commitment to continuous learning and innovation is essential, as the role requires staying ahead of emerging technologies and development methodologies to enhance system architecture and user experience. The ideal candidate will champion Agile principles, actively contributing to design discussions, sprint planning, and integration meetings. They will also provide oversight on testing strategies and quality assurance processes, ensuring that all deliverables meet security and performance standards. Collaboration is key, as the Technical Lead will partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, implement new features, and drive forward the program's technical vision.

Basic Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience
  • 4+ years' experience with the knowledge and technical fundamentals of O365 SharePoint Online and other intranet web collaboration platforms
  • Microsoft Certified in SharePoint Online or O365


Preferred Requirements
  • Training certification(s) strongly preferred
    • Agile or Scrum Certifications
    • CompTIA+ or PMP
    • Security-related certifications (Security+, CISSP)
  • Demonstrated experience managing and coordinating web content migrations
  • Proven ability to prepare and develop technical and system documentation
  • Proven leadership experience as a Technical Lead, Computer Systems Engineer, or Architect in a government or standards-driven environment
  • Demonstrated ability to empower and guide technical teams to meet functional and mission-critical requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a track record of effective collaboration across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Experience aligning technical solutions with organizational goals while maintaining architectural integrity
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with experience in the Federal/IT Industry
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with automation and service improvement programs
  • Demonstrated experience in leading/training a team of SMEs
  • Experience with escalating incidents while reviewing/ finding root causes for incidents is required
