Oracle EBS Projects -Business Analyst

This is a Contract to Hire opportunity where the client would like to convert this person after 12-18 months. Any visa is fine, can work anywhere within the United States. Must have US based experience working with Oracle Projects as a Functional Support / BA on EBS platform.

Job Description

Client is looking for an individual, to work within their team of Projects Business Analyst. The individual will bring expertise and knowledge to the team as a key contributor responsible for supporting EBS as the client globally rolls out Oracle Cloud Project Portfolio Management (PPM) Modules.

The candidate will interface with business users, our system integrator and business analysts within the Client s global network and work in a fast-paced environment performing multiple tasks to deliver a quality world class ERP to our business users. This role will facilitate and improve communication between business and technical resources. Must have Oracle EBS Functional Projects Support / BA experience.

Essential Job Functions include (but are not limited to):

Gather requirements, create design documents, and perform impact analysis for application changes.
Plan and organize tasks, report progress, and manage and coordinate with consultants for implementations.
Interpret and convert data based on business requirements and shepherd the data for delivery.
Work with existing systems to track and manage issues and enhancement opportunities.
Create test plans, test cases, test scripts and performs functional testing.
Managing User Documentation as well as Design Documentation
Understand and modify the Application Configuration as needed
Conduct user sessions for requirement and testing
Minimum REQUIRED Qualifications: 8-10 years of experience implementing Oracle Projects/Financials are required, with at least 2-implementations of Oracle Projects on Oracle Fusion ERP
At least 2 year of experience in implementing Oracle Project Portfolio Management (PPM) cloud modules

Specific Project Portfolio Management (PPM) Modules experience in:

Project Costing
Project Billing
Project Management
Financial Integration with Oracle Fusion Financials
General Ledger (GL)
Accounts Payable (AP)
Accounts Receivable (AR)

Knowledge of Unifier & Primavera (along with their integration with PPM cloud) will be a plus.
The implementation experience could include, but is not limited to, Configuration, Integrations and Data Conversions.
Bachelor s degree or higher, in Computer Science or related fields

Following qualifications are not mandatory, but would provide a big advantage in the selection process:

Ability to travel domestically as well as internationally, for events like User Acceptance Testing
Ability to write Oracle SQL queries
Knowledge of tools like MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio
Oracle PPM Cloud Certification (desirable)
PMP Certification (desirable)
