Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Program Manager to provide leadership and oversight on high-priority data analytics and dashboarding initiatives. The role requires expertise in program and product management, data governance, and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will guide technical projects from inception through implementation, ensuring scalability, compliance, and user-centric design.

Responsibilities

  • Provide product and project management leadership for dashboard and analytics initiatives, ensuring roadmap alignment, milestone delivery, and continuous feedback loops.
  • Support data governance activities, including policy development, onboarding of new staff, and metadata management strategies using governance tools.
  • Consult with teams on dashboard redesigns, validation protocols, and analytic frameworks.
  • Establish and maintain compliance with data visualization standards and dashboard quality assurance practices.
  • Document analytics infrastructure, creating scalable technology and documentation roadmaps.
  • Maintain inventory of key data assets and explore reporting burden reduction strategies.
  • Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, and technical discovery to inform product requirements.
  • Manage project charters and plans for new dashboarding initiatives, aligning with leadership and partner teams.
  • Coordinate use case development for data warehouse integration with reporting pipelines.
  • Communicate project goals, timelines, and deployment strategies to internal teams and external partners.
  • Facilitate strategic communication initiatives, including executive briefings and web content related to data products.
  • Deliver monthly status reports and performance tracking across assigned projects.
  • Provide expertise on transparency and evidence-based reporting in areas of public interest, including behavioral health, access to justice, and equity.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong technical product and project management experience with documentation and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams across data visualization, governance, strategy, and research.
  • Proven skills in analyzing workflows, identifying optimization opportunities, and recommending scalable solutions.
  • Experience managing complex technical projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Expertise in creating policy, governance frameworks, and standards documentation.
  • Experience evolving data products, managing roadmaps, and engaging user groups.
  • Excellent oral, written, analytical, and communication skills, with ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to support data governance activities including metadata management, validation protocols, and governance policy development.
  • Familiarity with data automation, pipelines, and analytic reporting environments.
  • Understanding of data dashboard design and compliance practices for internal and public-facing tools.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with documentation and change management for large-scale dashboard implementations.
  • Familiarity with operational workflows, organizational reporting structures, and funding processes.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills across executive, technical, and stakeholder audiences.
  • Experience with user research and stakeholder engagement for analytics product design.
  • Knowledge of strategic communications in public-facing or policy-driven contexts.
  • Background in environmental law, public policy, or related data reporting issues.
