Opportunity Overview
iSphere is hiring a Senior Application Support Analyst for a contract-to-hire position based onsite in Beaumont, Texas. This role supports mission-critical industrial software used across operational environments. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in enterprise application support, particularly with tools like J5, OSIsoft PI (Pie), or Enableon.
The position requires both technical troubleshooting expertise and user-facing support experience in energy, petrochemical, or manufacturing settings.
Key Responsibilities

Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for applications such as J5, OSIsoft PI (Pie), and Enableon

Monitor system health, performance, and proactively address outages or degradations

Troubleshoot user-reported incidents involving access, data discrepancies, and system functionality

Work with vendors and internal teams to resolve complex issues and escalate when needed

Track and manage tickets using ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy)

Contribute to internal documentation, knowledge base articles, and support guides

Assist with patching, upgrades, testing, and production deployments

Support change management and system improvement efforts

Provide end-user training and support for new features and system enhancements
Required Skills & Experience
Years Required/Preferred Skill/Experience 5+ Required Application support in industrial, energy, or manufacturing environments - Required Familiarity with J5, OSIsoft PI (Pie), or Enableon - Required Experience troubleshooting Windows-based systems, databases, and access controls - Required Proficiency with ITSM tools like ServiceNow, Remedy, or similar - Required Strong customer service, documentation, and communication skills - Required Ability to work 100% onsite in Beaumont, TX and collaborate cross-functionally
Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to SQL queries or basic scripting for reporting and analysis
