AVA Consulting is seeking an Engineer with 3D design software/CATIA Exp

Location: Georgetown, KY

Company Background: Our client, a major employer in the area, is looking for an Engineer to be part of its team in its North American operations

Description:

  • Technician, SE Robot Team
  • Support and lead digital factory updates (Delmia C3/AutoCad/MS office)
  • Study Z1/Z2 welding processes for feasibility
  • Estimate robotic welding process cycle time
  • Create 3D concept welding equipment and end of arm tooling models
  • Work across multiple data formats to develop robot welding strategies
  • Offline robot teaching using digital engineering software
  • Support Engineering for Bodyweld model change activities
  • Create documentation in support of offline and onsite robot teaching activities

Requirements:

Required Skills:

  • 2 year technical degree (A.S.) or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in manufacturing and/or robotics
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Highly proficient with MS excel
  • 3D design software experience(i.e. CATIA, DELIMA, SOLIDWORKS)

Desired Qualifications:

  • MS SharePoint experience, VB or VBA experience
  • Automated robotic welding (spot/arc) and robotic material handling teaching or offline data preparation experience
