Position: Supply Chain Analyst (2)

Location: Charlotte, NC
  • 4x/week onsite
  • Expect 5x/week onsite for first 2-3 weeks (training)

Contract Length: 3-6 month C2H

Top Requirements:
  • 2+ years in supply chain
  • Analytical experience
  • Experience validating decisions through reports
  • Very strong Excel
  • Ability to transform large data sets into usable information
  • Pivot tables, formulas, v-lookups, visual basics
    Plusses
  • ERP knowledge (Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP, etc.)
  • Experience with SAP Business Objects would be great!
    Day to Day Responsibilities/project specifics: This Supply Chain Analyst position will sit on a new team within Supply Chain at this client. This Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for supporting the planners/forecasters and utilizing their documentation to make recommendations for supply. Candidates should have extremely strong Excel skills and comfort in manipulating very large (several thousand rows) data sets in Excel. This team manages vendor managed inventory that replenishes on a schedule. This person will be responsible for making the recommendations for reorder points as well as looking at inventory locations to determine the benefit of moving vs. ordering more inventory. This person should have excellent verbal and written communication as he/she will be expected to communicate with the team, other supply chain regions in the company as well as vendors. The team has created big changes within the entire organization through implementing new approval processes with goals of cost reduction.
