Job Description
We are seeking .NET Developers to design, develop, and modernize applications in support of statewide education initiatives. This position involves full lifecycle software development, modernization of legacy reporting frameworks, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable and high-performance solutions.
The selected candidates will work in a SCRUM/Agile environment, contributing to both new development and enhancements of existing applications, with a strong focus on .NET 8.0/9.0, Blazor, and Oracle database technologies.
Duties and Responsibilities

Design and develop a new reporting framework using .NET 8.0/9.0, Blazor, and other Microsoft technologies.

Participate in the full SDLC within a SCRUM/Agile environment.

Analyze and enhance complex Crystal Reports integrated with Oracle databases.

Develop scalable, high-performance financial system solutions with Oracle backend integration.

Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and automation.

Modernize and streamline legacy systems to align with business goals.
Required Experience/Skills
-
8 years experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
-
8 years with Entity Framework.
-
8 years with Oracle (PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, Database Management, Performance Tuning).

8 years strong understanding of data modeling.
-
8 years applying design principles.
-
6 years with Blazor Server/WSM.
-
6 years with Fluent UI.
-
5 years with Bitbucket for version control.
-
5 years with Nomad and Consul.
-
2 years with .NET 8.0/9.0, C#, Visual Studio.
Preferred Experience/Skills
-
5 years with JIRA, TEMPO, Bitbucket, Confluence.

5 years applying SCRUM/Agile methodologies.
-
3 years prior Texas state agency experience.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
