Job Details

Position: GoLang/AWS/Typescript Developer
Industry: Logistics and Manufacturing
Type: 6 months contract
Location: Fully Remote (EST)
Interviews: 1 in-house technical screening + 2 rounds with client

Day To Day Responsbilities:




  • Develop and deploy scalable AWS infrastructure (using CDK, Lambda, EC2, and Kinesis) to support data modeling and machine learning workloads.



  • Collaborate with data scientists and engineering teams to integrate Machine Learning models into production environments for process optimization.



  • Implement and maintain observability tools to monitor system health, performance, and data flow reliability across distributed systems.



  • Containerize and manage microservices using Docker or ECS to improve deployment efficiency and scalability.



  • Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance backend systems while ensuring security, automation, and adherence to best practices within AWS environments.



Must Haves:




  • 4-6 years of GoLang development experience.



  • AWS Core Competencies: CDK, Lambda, EC2, Kinesis, SNS/SQS, VPCs, subnets, IAM, and overall cloud architecture.



  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Build, test, and deploy via CDK in TypeScript (preferred).



  • Containers: Docker, ECS, or EKS for microservices and deployment.



  • Monitoring & Observability: Building monitoring systems for distributed environments.



  • Programming Languages: TypeScript (CDK),



  • Security: Strong understanding of AWS security best practices and permissions management.



Plusses:




  • Exposure to data modeling, machine learning, and edge computing



  • Strong debugging and self-guided problem-solving abilities.




Salary and Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is between $45 - $50 per hour. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
