Job Details

We are seeking a Technical Data Lead to direct the technical execution of data migration and cleansing activities. This role requires strong Oracle expertise combined with leadership in structured reporting, written deliverables, and coordination with project staff, managers, and independent verification consultants.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and execution of conversion scripts
  • Deliver detailed conversion and cleansing approaches for review and approval
  • Maintain and synchronize the data services work plan with project schedules
  • Submit structured bi-weekly project status reports including risks, metrics, and deliverables
  • Prepare detailed meeting agendas and document outcomes in JIRA
  • Ensure written deliverables meet formatting, volume, and review-cycle standards
  • Collaborate with staff and consultants to resolve issues and validate data quality
  • Provide technical leadership while suggesting innovative solutions

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in data migration leadership
  • Oracle 19c and advanced PL/SQL expertise
  • Oracle Data Migration-related certification
  • Proven track record preparing high-quality deliverables and structured reporting
  • Experience leading technical teams and documenting reconciliation frameworks
  • Familiarity with JIRA or similar project tracking tools

Preferred Skills and Certifications:

  • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)
  • Oracle Cloud Data Integration Certification
  • Informatica Certified Professional (ICP)
  • AWS or Azure Data Engineering Certification
  • ITIL Foundation Certification
  • Strong written communication skills for high-quality deliverables

Schedule:
  • Standard work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM or 9:00 AM-5:00 PM EST. Work is primarily onsite in New York City; remote work may be approved with prior authorization.
  • Workweek is 35 hours, not including a mandatory unpaid one-hour meal break.
  • The Fund observes 12 official City holidays each year.
  • Any work beyond 35 hours per week or on observed holidays requires prior written approval from the Fund's Project Manager.
  • Consultants may occasionally be required to work after hours, weekends, or holidays.
  • Must be available to respond to high-priority or critical emergencies affecting data systems.
  • Anticipated contract term is two years from Notice to Proceed. Contract may be renewed for up to two additional one-year periods under the same terms and conditions.
