Role - Sr. ServiceNow Architect
Location Santa Clara, CA
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer / Architect to lead the redesign of key workflows (Catalog, Knowledge Base, HR, etc.) on the ServiceNow platform. This role involves drafting user stories, architecting scalable solutions, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality UI components and workflow enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the redesign and optimization of ServiceNow workflows including Service Catalog, Knowledge Base, HR Services, and other modules.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and translate business needs into clear user stories and technical specifications.
Architect and implement UI components using ServiceNow s UI Builder, Service Portal, and other front-end tools.
Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with platform best practices and enterprise architecture standards.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features and recommend improvements.
Work with Agile teams to deliver iterative enhancements and manage backlog grooming.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience on the ServiceNow platform, with at least 2 years in an Architect role.
Proven experience in workflow redesign and process automation within ServiceNow.
Strong expertise in UI development using ServiceNow components (UI Builder, Service Portal, Now Experience).
Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and ServiceNow scripting (Client Scripts, Business Rules, Script Includes).
Experience with Agile methodologies and writing user stories for development teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or Certified System Administrator.
Experience with HRSD, ITSM, or Knowledge Management modules.
Familiarity with IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, and REST APIs.
