Position Overview:
This role involves testing and validating telecom network infrastructure and services, particularly in the 4G and 5G domains. The engineer will work with industry-standard testing tools (e.g., Landslide, Spirent, IxLoad), simulate complex call flows, and ensure conformance to 3GPP specifications. The responsibilities include traffic generation, protocol testing, system monitoring, and automation of test scenarios to evaluate performance and scalability.
Must Have Skills -
Expertise with Landslide test tool and any other Spirent tools: 8+ Years
Expertise with Keysight IxLoad/LoadCore test tool : 8+ Years
Validate protocols and call flows for 4G EPC, 5G Core, Diameter, SIP (VoLTE, VoNR), and HTTP2: 8+ Years
Experience/Knowledge of Rest API/SOAP validation: 5+ Years
Knowledge of Netscout, IP protocols : 5+ Years
Key Responsibilities:
* Execute and automate performance and functional tests using Spirent Landslide, Keysight IxLoad, and related tools.
* Validate protocols and call flows for 4G EPC, 5G Core, Diameter, SIP (VoLTE, VoNR), and HTTP2.
* Interpret and apply 3GPP specifications to ensure test cases and network behavior are standards-compliant.
* Perform API validation (REST/SOAP) and basic network troubleshooting (IP, VLANs, subnetting).
* Monitor systems using tools like Grafana and Nagios.
* Use scripting or programming to automate system and tool operations.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with multiple teams for test planning, execution, issue resolution, and project delivery.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Strong hands-on experience with telecom test tools and traffic generators.
* In-depth knowledge of mobile network architecture (4G/5G).
* Comfortable working in a multi-team, collaborative environment with some project management or coordination responsibilities.
* Capable of both manual and automated test execution, with solid scripting skills for automation.
