Title: QE Lead Full-Stack Quality Engineer
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid Onsite as Required)
Rate: $60/hr

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced QE Lead / Full-Stack Quality Engineer for a hybrid role in Chicago, IL. This role requires a dynamic professional who can lead end-to-end test strategy, automation, and DevOps quality integration for complex enterprise systems. The candidate must bring deep experience in CI/CD execution, test environment provisioning, disaster recovery planning, and automation lifecycle support.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead environment creation, configuration, and provisioning for QE and DevOps platforms
Monitor technology stacks (excluding platform monitoring) and ensure high reliability
Provision and manage QE and DevOps tools, licenses, and user access
Develop and maintain test strategy, acceptance test planning, and test cases
Execute and support CI/CD pipelines, including pipeline onboarding
Manage workspace and test environments; ensure lifecycle continuity
Drive product automation enhancement, design, and execution
Oversee application DR (Disaster Recovery) and business continuity support
Support spend and consumption management of QE tools and environments
Collaborate on product version lifecycle management
Work with BC and BC5 teams to align on platform-level DevOps & QE services
Develop standard CI/CD pipelines, version control strategies, and repositories
Drive continuous improvement of application lifecycle management and test services

Required Skills:

10+ years of experience in Quality Engineering / Full-Stack QE
Deep experience in test automation, test strategy, and CI/CD execution
Hands-on expertise in environment provisioning, user/license management, and pipeline onboarding
Proven background in DR implementation, business continuity, and test lifecycle support
Strong understanding of DevOps ecosystems, automation frameworks, and tool integration
Excellent collaboration, documentation, and communication skills
Must be able to work onsite in hybrid mode in Chicago, IL

Nice to Have:

Experience in platform capability enhancement and cross-environment QA
Familiarity with cost optimization and test consumption modeling
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and performance testing frameworks
