Client of mine is looking for a Lead Embedded Systems Engineer to join their team.
My client is a startup swarm robotics company for industry and defense. Their focus is on building swarm of robots for low cost with an autonomous stack optimized to perform regular task and a global planner that enables swarm capabilities for groups of robots to accomplish knowledgeable tasks.
For this product they are searching for a talented Embedded Systems Engineer with software and hardware experience to take ownership of embedded systems on our ground swarm robots. This wide-ranging role will design and implement software and hardware solutions for all embedded systems on-board our robot and work closely with other disciplines to ensure we field a performant autonomous system.
This is an onsite position in the greater Phoenix, Arizona area.

Ideal candidates will have experience:
- Experience in design, prototype, build, and test of embedded systems software / firmware.
- Evaluate, design, and implement both existing and custom communication protocols between devices and between compute modules. Like (SPI, UART, CAN) to high level (TCP/UDP)
- Proven programming experience with C or C++.
- Electronics engineering and robotics experience would be preferred.
