Associate End User Services Engineer / Desktop Support Technician
Location: Lawrenceville, GA
Duration: Long Term Contract
Reports To: Director, End User Services
Position Summary
This is a hands-on, entry-level role responsible for desktop support, hardware deployment, and inventory logistics. The ideal candidate will manage the environment at the Lawrenceville PC Depot while providing customer-focused technical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory & Logistics: Maintain organization, cleanliness, and inventory accuracy within the Lawrenceville PC Depot. Coordinate hardware pickups, disposals, and recycling with vendors.
- Desktop Support: Troubleshoot and resolve routine Windows, Mac, and mobile device issues.
- Deployment: Execute standardized imaging, patching, and application installation processes for new and existing endpoints.
- Administration: Assist with incident resolution, maintain technical documentation, and escalate complex issues to senior engineers.
- Physical Tasks: Receive shipments and physically move hardware (servers, PCs, boxes) ranging from 10 to 75 lbs.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2 3 years of hands-on IT support experience (Windows/Mac/Mobile).
- Education: Associate degree or equivalent technical certification/experience.
- Skills: Basic knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Office/365, and ticketing systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical: Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs and work in a warehouse environment.
