Role Overview

The Healthcare Payer & Lifesciences Techno-Functional Domain Expert for PreSales will play a pivotal role in driving the pre-sales activities for healthcare payer and lifesciences solutions. This position requires a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, payer systems, and lifesciences domain, combined with technical acumen to effectively communicate the value of our solutions to potential clients.

Responsibilities

  • PreSales Engagement: Collaborate with sales teams to identify client needs and tailor solutions to meet those requirements. Provide domain expertise during pre-sales engagements to demonstrate the value of our offerings.
  • Solution Design: Leverage your domain expertise to design customized solutions for healthcare payers and lifesciences clients. Ensure solutions meet regulatory requirements and align with industry best practices. Collaborate with sales and technical teams to design tailored solutions that address the specific needs and challenges faced by HCLS clients.
  • Technical Presentations: Deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
  • Technology/Product Solutions: Design AI-driven technology solutions by bringing together HBU leaders and platform partners. Integration of emerging technologies to design a scalable tech solution.
  • Client Presentations: Develop and deliver compelling presentations to clients, showcasing the features and benefits of our healthcare payer and lifesciences solutions.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical guidance and support to clients during the pre-sales phase. Address technical queries and concerns to build client confidence in our solutions.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to understand industry trends, client pain points, and competitive landscape. Use insights to inform solution development and sales strategies.
  • Proposal Development: Assist in the development of detailed proposals and RFP responses. Ensure proposals are aligned with client needs and highlight our domain expertise.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including product development, marketing, and delivery teams, to ensure alignment and coherence in solution offerings.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry developments, regulatory changes, and technological advancements. Apply this knowledge to enhance solution design and client engagement.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, lifesciences, computer science, or a related field. Advanced degrees preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in healthcare payer systems, lifesciences domain, or a related field. Proven track record in pre-sales or sales engineering roles.
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical knowledge of healthcare payer systems, lifesciences applications, and related technologies. Ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts.
  • Domain Expertise: In-depth understanding of healthcare payer processes, lifesciences research and development, and regulatory requirements.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate complex solutions clearly and convincingly to clients.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to think strategically and provide innovative solutions to client challenges.
  • Client-Focused: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Client-centric approach with a focus on delivering value.

Preferred Skills

  • Industry Certifications: Relevant certifications such as PMP, CBAP, or healthcare-specific certifications.
  • Technical Tools: Proficiency in tools such as CRM systems, data analytics platforms, and healthcare payer software.
  • Global Exposure: Experience working with clients in different geographical regions and an understanding of global healthcare payer and lifesciences landscapes.
