Location: Onsite in Los Angeles, CA
Employment Type: Contract to hire
Compensation: $60-70/hr W2 ONLY
Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. Network Engineer to lead the end-to-end migration of an enterprise Aruba wireless environment to Aruba Central. This role will ensure a seamless transition, enhanced performance, and improved cloud-based management across a large, complex network environment.

Title: Sr. Network Engineer - Aruba Wireless Migration to Aruba Central

Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. Network Engineer to lead the end-to-end migration of an enterprise Aruba wireless environment to Aruba Central. This role will ensure a seamless transition, enhanced performance, and improved cloud-based management across a large, complex network environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead migration from Aruba Mobility Controllers to Aruba Central
- Assess existing Aruba wireless infrastructure, configurations, and dependencies
- Configure and onboard Aruba APs, switches, and gateways
- Rebuild or migrate SSIDs, authentication policies, roles, and access control
- Integrate Aruba ClearPass for NAC, authentication, and policy enforcement
- Conduct wireless surveys, RF assessments, and performance tuning
- Validate segmentation, VLANs, DHCP scope alignment, and security posture
- Support cutover activities with minimal downtime
- Troubleshoot complex wireless performance and connectivity issues
- Create documentation, architecture diagrams, and configuration standards
Required Experience:
- Strong enterprise wireless networking experience
- Hands-on expertise with Aruba Central, ArubaOS, Aruba APs, and Aruba switches
- Deep knowledge of ClearPass, RADIUS, NAC, and wireless security
- Experience with large-scale wireless migrations
- Aruba certifications preferred
