Sr. BI Developer/Lead
Location: Irving, TX 5 days onsite
Duration: 6+ Months Contract to hire

Summary:
  • This role is crucial in transforming data into actionable insights.
  • You will leverage your expertise in Power BI, Azure Data Factory, Snowflake and advanced SQL skills to develop and maintain business intelligence solutions ensuring data governance, cross-functional collaboration, and user engagement to deliver high-quality BI services.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and other reporting and data transformation tools to meet business requirements.
  • Perform complex data analysis and create DAX calculations and measures to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Utilize Azure Data Factory for data integration and transformation tasks.
  • Build solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and deliver tailored BI solutions.
  • Conduct regular meetings with users to gather feedback, provide training, and ensure the BI tools meet their needs.
Must-have Requirements:
  • 6-8+ years of experience in BI development.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Snowflake, AWS, and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
  • Ability to analyze complex data and deliver meaningful visualizations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong inclination towards automation and efficiency sees repetitive tasks as an opportunity for optimization and elimination.
  • Ability to engage with users, gather requirements, and provide user training and documentation.
  • Experience in Tableau, Python, Coupa, AWS cloud services is a plus.
  • Microsoft Fabric experience for Dataverse configuration, reporting and data analysis.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Certifications in Power BI or Tableau
