Job Title: Oracle HCM Payroll Techno-Functional Consultant
Location: Remote (USA)
Type: Contract / Full-Time
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle HCM Payroll Techno-Functional Consultant to support our Oracle HCM Cloud environment, with a focus on post go-live support, payroll operations, and custom reporting development. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and functional experience, with a proven track record of directly assisting payroll users during processing, troubleshooting issues, and developing solutions using OTBI, BI Publisher, HDL, and Fast Formulas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide post go-live support for Oracle Cloud Payroll, including user support during payroll runs and post-payroll processing.
- Interact directly with Payroll users to troubleshoot and resolve issues, including data loading, validation errors, and balance adjustments.
- Develop and enhance custom payroll reports using OTBI and BI Publisher based on user requirements.
- Assist users in designing, modifying, and maintaining Fast Formulas related to payroll processing and costing.
- Collaborate with Payroll and HR teams to configure, test, and deploy new Fast Formulas and HCM Extracts.
- Troubleshoot and fix issues related to HCM Extracts, OIC integrations, HDL (HCM Data Loader) jobs, and inbound/outbound payroll interfaces.
- Perform reconciliation activities between Payroll and General Ledger to ensure accuracy.
- Contribute to enhancements and support continuous improvements across Payroll and HCM integrations.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 7+ years of experience with Oracle HCM Cloud, with a focus on Payroll module
- Strong expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, and a deep understanding of Oracle HCM database tables
- Proven experience with Fast Formulas: discovery, modification, and creation for payroll and absence calculations
- Hands-on experience in building and troubleshooting HCM Extracts, HDL, and Payroll integrations
- Experience using OTBI and BI Publisher to develop payroll reports and analytics
- Solid understanding of Payroll reconciliation processes and payroll operations
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience integrating with third-party payroll vendors via OIC or Web Services
- Familiarity with Payroll Costing and GL integration
- Knowledge of Absence, Benefits, and Time & Labor modules
