Description:


Becker ball valve assembly typically involves installing the valve body, ball, and stem, along with seals and actuators, to create a fully functional control valve. The process may also include attaching end connections (flanges or threads), installing packing and gaskets, and connecting to an actuator (pneumatic, hydraulic, or electric) for automated operation. Connections: Metal tubing valves use various methods to connect to the tubing, such as threaded connections, compression fittings, or welded joints. Compression fittings are particularly common in instrumentation and are relatively easy to install without specialized tools

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
All additional job responsibilities of a Control Valve Technician I
Locate, use, and comprehend manufacturer installation and operation manuals
Perform inspection to identify necessary corrective action as authorized
Perform PMI
Assemble, test, and troubleshoot valves and other equipment per applicable codes and standards per manufacturer and/or customer requirements all new valves
Install instrumentation/accessories as necessary
Operate diagnostic equipment (i.e. Valscope, profiler, etc.)
Perform calibration of measurement equipment in accordance with internal quality procedures
Measure and record critical dimensions per manufacturer specifications

Essential Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent. 6+ months related experience.
Must have Control Valve Assembly experience including Becker ball valve assembly experience
