Title: SAP Process Functional Consultant

Location: Jacksonville, FL (travel to Jacksonville M-F every other week) | Travel will be expensed due to travel reimbursement policy guidelines

Duration: through June 2026

We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Project Systems (PS) to join our team. This consultant will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the system integrator (Infosys), ensuring smooth business process validation and driving quick resolution of issues and bugs. Exceptional communication skills (10/10) are a must, as this role requires direct interaction with business leaders and acting as their arms and legs in the SAP implementation process.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for SAP Project Systems module between business stakeholders and SI consultants.
  • Validate business processes and ensure alignment with SAP PS configuration.
  • Drive SI consultants to resolve issues promptly and maintain project timelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration across SAP modules.
  • Support testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution during implementation and post-go-live phases.
  • Maintain compliance with project governance, audit, and regulatory requirements.

    • Manual and automatic cost planning
    • Budgeting and availability control
    • Actual cost tracking and variance analysis
  4. Settlement and Results Analysis
    • Period-end closing activities
    • Settlement to cost centers, internal orders, assets
    • Revenue recognition and results analysis

Business Process Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle, preferably in major logistics infrastructure and technology projects.
  • Familiarity with capital investment projects and customer projects.
  • Knowledge of project governance, compliance, and audit requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an SAP Functional Consultant specializing in Project Systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills (must be 10/10).
  • Bachelor s degree in IT, Finance, or related field; SAP certifications preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
