What You Will Do
The SaaS Continuity Engineering team is responsible for the design and build of the systems and services that enables Oracle to deliver industry-leading availability and performance objectives for Oracle's SaaS services. The team architects and develops high-availability and service continuity solutions across the entire stack - infrastructure, database, platform, and application services - and all the dependent components. The engineering innovations enable SaaS services to be available to customers without any disruptions even during large-scale incidents. We are building the next-gen service continuity solutions in a fast-pace and innovative environment and looking for an Architect who can design and develop services that operate at scale.
As a Fusion Middleware Architect, you will be responsible for ensuring that our SaaS services are designed and built with the highest level of availability and resiliency in mind. You will collaborate with other engineering teams responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing SaaS Services and underlying platform in a distributed cloud environment. The ideal candidate will be technically strong and must understand large-scale systems. This role will drive the technical architecture of our service continuity solutions, contribute to the product strategy, and contribute to the development of next generation availability and resiliency features for Oracle's SaaS cloud environment.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $96,800 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Required Qualifications
- MS/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields
- Proven track record of architecting, developing and implementing products and features for hyperscale SaaS involving large number of Containers, storage systems, services and Databases
- Driven large scale changes to drastically enhance application Integrations, SaaS abstractions, availability, reliability and scale
- Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies and best practices into architectural solutions
- Working knowledge of the Infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) service model for any cloud providers. knowledge of key concepts like Compute, Storage, networking, Security & Identity, databases and Observability Pipelines
- Lead the integration of platform Server/Services with other enterprise systems, databases, and middleware technologies
- Optimize configurations for performance, scalability, and reliability, including tuning JVMs, server settings, and FMW components
- Implement and manage high-availability and disaster recovery solutions in cloud environments
- Establish and enforce architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices for platform and infrastructure services implementations
- Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and organizational standards and policies.
- Lead and manage architectural design and implementation projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements
- Collaborate with project managers, development teams, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex technical challenges
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- 10+ years experience architecting solutions for large enterprise systems in cloud
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in leading teams that have delivered successful SaaS and PaaS products
- Seasoned mentor who has overcome challenges and influenced technology direction of the product
- Designing, developing, and testing systems that can use deep learning for artificial intelligence (AI) applications
