Title: Oracle Developer with Java experience

Job Summary:
We are looking for an Oracle Developer who is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle databases and applications, ensuring they meet user requirements and industry standards along with JAVA experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide on-going support and maintenance of in-house applications using Oracle SQL, PL/SQL and Oracle Forms
Conduct Code design and development for larger projects using Oracle SQL, PL/ SQL and Oracle Forms
Develop PL/SQL database objects, SQL scripts, interfaces, reports and forms using standard tools including Oracle Forms, Report Builder, Oracle Application Framework, BI Publisher
Oracle performance tuning / optimization
Optimizing SQL
Tuning Oracle
Hands on development of quality
Responding in a timely manner to any technical or general questions on File Mover
Provide L4 Support to the production team
Support functions include problem investigation, development, testing and deployment to live
Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Java, Spring Framework
Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC): requirement analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications.
Ensure code quality, security, and performance through best practices and code reviews.
Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is typically required.
Strong knowledge of Oracle technologies, including SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Forms. Familiarity with database management and application programming interfaces (APIs) is essential.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Previous experience in Oracle development or a related field is often preferred, along with familiarity with software development methodologies.
Experience in Java/J2EE development.
Knowledge of MVC design patterns and software architecture principles.
Experience with RESTful APIs / Web Services integration.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related front-end technologies is a plus.
Understanding of version control tools like Git.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
