JOB TITLE: Lead Software Engineering

REMOTE TYPE: Office Worker

*Office Worker: In office position with work from home allowed, i.e. flex or hybrid worker

JOB LOCATION: 3400 W. Plano Parkway. Plano, TX 75075

DUTIES: Create and support the development of responsive/adaptive web apps and native apps. Work closely with the UXUI designers to create high quality and innovative and intuitive user experiences in products. Create beautiful user and browser friendly UI/ Web solutions. Contribute to the design and architecture to enable secure, scalable, and maintainable software. Focus on scalability, security, and availability of all applications and processes. Design, code, test, debug, and document new and existing components to ensure that software meets business, quality, and operational needs. Align development teams to a shared technical direction and partner with those teams in elaborating the Solution and its interfaces. Build high quality code following unit testing and test-driven development. Establish critical NFRs at the solution level and participate in the definition of others. Collaborate with peer organizations, dev ops, and support organizations on technical issues and provide guidance. Work with team to troubleshoot code level problems quickly and efficiently. Apply deep technical expertise to resolve challenging programming and design problems. Work in Agile development. Work in Application Design and Architecture. Utilize Application Development tools. Utilize design thinking. Work in Information Security Management. Utilize Requirements Analysis. Utilize Software Development Life Cycle. Utilize Software QA & testing tools. Utilize React JS, Angular, Java/Groovy, REST services, NoSql technologies, Oracle, Kafka/MQ/Rabbit, Redis, Splunk, Git, Jira, and Jenkins. Build web applications using React, Angular, Spring and REST. Build Java-based high-volume, high transaction e-commerce applications. Perform performance tuning and application monitoring.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, or Electronic Engineering and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, or 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation working in Agile development; working in Application Design and Architecture; utilizing Application Development tools; utilizing design thinking; working in Information Security Management; utilizing Requirements Analysis; utilizing Software Development Life Cycle; utilizing Software QA and testing tools; utilizing React JS, Angular, Java/Groovy, REST services, Splunk, Git, Jira, and Jenkins; building web applications using React, Angular, Spring and REST; building Java-based high-volume, high transaction e-commerce applications; and performing performance tuning and application monitoring.
