Highly skilled and experienced Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Specialist

Experience in designing, developing, implementing, and managing robust integrations centered around Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications and Oracle Field Service Cloud (OFSC), leveraging the full capabilities of OIC. Deep technical expertise in OIC, a strong understanding of Oracle Fusion and OFSC APIs/integration points. Hands-on experience requiring the ability to architect solutions, resolve challenging technical issues, and ensure seamless data flow across the Oracle ecosystem and third-party applications.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing management of integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for OIC, focusing on integrations involving Oracle Fusion Cloud (Service, SCM, Financials, etc.) and Oracle Field Service Cloud (OFSC).
  • Develop complex integrations utilizing various OIC adapters (Fusion Apps, OFSC, REST, SOAP, File, DB, etc.), connections, lookups, mappings, and error handling frameworks.
  • Implement diverse integration patterns including real-time APIs (REST/SOAP), scheduled orchestrations, file-based data integrations (FBDI), and event-driven integrations.
  • Proven, hands-on implementation and configuration experience with Oracle Field Service Cloud (OFSC), including core modules and configuration tools.
  • Demonstrable, hands-on experience designing, developing, deploying, and managing integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical challenges related to OIC integrations, data consistency, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Develop and execute unit testing, support system integration testing (SIT), and assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) for integration components.
  • Stay current with OIC advancements, new features, and emerging integration technologies within the Oracle ecosystem.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience focused primarily on designing, developing, and implementing solutions using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Demonstrable deep expertise with the OIC platform, including its various components, adapters (especially Oracle Fusion, OFSC, REST, SOAP, File), features, and best practices.
  • Proven experience building complex integrations specifically between Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications and other systems (including OFSC and third-party applications).
  • Solid experience integrating with Oracle Field Service Cloud (OFSC) using its APIs and understanding its integration capabilities.
  • Strong understanding and practical experience with RESTful and SOAP web services, WSDL, XSD, JSON, and XML.
  • Experience with various data integration patterns (API-led, batch processing, event-based) and handling large data volumes.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Oracle Cloud Platform Application Integration Professional Certification (OIC).
  • Functional understanding of key Oracle Fusion modules (e.g., Service Cloud, SCM, Financials) and OFSC processes.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) concepts.
  • Experience with other Oracle PaaS services (e.g., API Gateway, Streaming).
  • Knowledge of Groovy scripting within the context of OIC.
  • Experience with CI/CD practices applied to integration development.
