Software Engineering Advisors- Hybrid

The job profile for this position is Software Engineering Advisor, which is a Band 4 Contributor Career Track Role with Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc.

Responsibilities-

• Java Cloud Conversational AI Application Development.
• Define conversational AI requirements and build, configure, and implement software applications using Object-Oriented Programming concepts and technical expertise in technologies such as Java/J2EE, Oracle, Web Services, Spring Framework, JavaScript, Maven, JSON, JDBC, JPA, Jenkins, and GIT.
• Utilize tools and techniques such as Jira, Confluence, and Visio for project releases.
• Devise and present software solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to contact center applications due to alerts or customer complaints, including identifying root causes, researching possible solutions, and implementing preventive measures.
• Participate in the implementation and support expansion of new conversational AI initiatives.
• Collaborate with quality assurance and business users to address issues and challenges.
• Work with both onsite and offsite teams to deliver best-in-class solutions in the contact center space.
• Develop business logic within a multi-tier environment.
• Contribute to creating low- and high-level designs for conversational AI requirements by coordinating with peer technical leads, developers, and business analysts involved in the project, and work with cloud-based technologies.
• Provide ongoing support and integration for conversational AI applications (chat, text, voice).
• Define conversational AI requirements and perform hands-on software development tasks such as prototyping, feature development, and bug fixing.
• Contribute to creating libraries and frameworks that will be used across multiple application development projects.
• Apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, including requirements elicitation, application design, and implementation.
• Analyze architecture and relationships between systems to ensure optimal system flow.

Qualifications-

Master's or foreign equivalent degree in computers or engineering plus three years of experience in software development or a bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in computers or engineering plus five years of experience in software development.

Must have experience with: Java, Java EE, Spring, Hibernate, Oracle, Web Services, WebLogic Server, JBoss, JPA, JDBC, Maven, Microservices, Spring security, EJB, JMS, Layer 7 technologies, Contivo, Quartz Scheduler, Hobbit Monitoring tool, jMeter, Soap UI, Eclipse, XML Spy, SVN, GIT, Star UML, Jakarta JMeter, Jsp, SQL developer, Linux and Windows.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
