Role Overview
This pivotal position is a strategic response to their expanding mission to modernise Defence acquisition processes. As an Implementation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in configuring and deploying sophisticated data platforms tailored to the needs of government agencies and military clients. Your work will directly support mission-critical initiatives, enabling faster, more informed decision-making across the defence community.
Key Responsibilities



  • Develop expertise in client operations, platform offerings, and relevant datasets to deliver expert support.

  • Lead end-to-end implementation of software solutions, including configuration, integration, and training.

  • Employ SQL, Python, and other coding languages to tailor technical workflows and facilitate seamless data integration.

  • Collaborate with project teams to identify client needs and incorporate insights into platform enhancements.

  • Drive platform adoption through targeted training sessions and ongoing support.

  • Create detailed documentation, user guides, and training materials customised for each client.

  • Conduct quantitative analyses and generate comprehensive reports using our advanced data tools.

  • Present findings clearly and persuasively to stakeholders, including government officials and senior leadership.

  • Develop a strong understanding of US Government programmes, federal acquisition procedures, supply chain security, and related operational areas.



Additional Responsibilities (depending on experience)



  • Support end-user training and ongoing user engagement efforts.

  • Assist in technical workflow development and customisation.

  • Demonstrate platform capabilities to prospective clients to support sales activities.

  • Conduct research and market analysis relevant to national security objectives.



Essential Skills & Experience



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, International Relations, or a closely related field.

  • 1 to 4 years of experience in data analysis, defence or government-related analytics, or IT deployment.

  • Working knowledge of SQL, Python, and R, with the ability to quickly develop technical configurations.

  • Strong communication skills with professional demeanour and confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently in fast-paced environments.

  • U.S. Citizenship is a mandatory requirement.



Preferred Skills & Experience



  • Current or ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

  • Familiarity with defence acquisition life cycles, program management, or supply chain risk management.

  • Experience with software development languages such as Java, C, React, or Typescript.

  • Exposure to SaaS, analytic tools, or market research within the defence sector.

  • Previous engagement with federal government agencies and stakeholders.
