Job Description:

As an Intune Administrator Consultant, you will play a critical role in optimizing the organization's existing hybrid Intune environment, which includes both cloud-based Intune and on-premises Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM). The hybrid Intune environment is a critical component of the organization's overall device management and security strategy, supporting a diverse fleet of Windows, macOS, and mobile devices.

Your primary objective will be to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the current Intune and MECM integration, identify areas for improvement, and implement the necessary enhancements to streamline device management, optimize application deployment, strengthen security controls, and ensure compliance. You will be expected to not only provide well-informed recommendations but also take a hands-on approach to executing the implementation within a defined timeline.

This short-term consulting role requires a deep understanding of Intune and MECM integration, as well as expertise in aligning the hybrid environment with the organization's broader Zero Trust security initiatives. You will collaborate closely with the Enterprise IT and Security Teams (DAS/OIT & OISP), Microsoft and support teams to ensure a seamless transition of the optimized Intune environment to the in-house team.

If you have a proven track record of delivering successful Intune environment optimizations and possess the necessary technical and consultative skills, we encourage you to apply for this Intune Administrator Consultant role. This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on the organization's digital transformation and security initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the current Intune and MECM integration, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimizations.
  • Enhance application and software update management to ensure device compliance and streamlined deployment.
  • Optimize the Universal Print infrastructure and address any inefficiencies.
  • Evaluate and implement security improvements to align with the organization's Zero Trust strategy.
  • Enhance reporting and compliance to provide visibility and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with teams and provide knowledge transfer to ensure a smooth transition.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing Intune and/or MECM environments.
  • Proven track record of assessing, optimizing, and enhancing hybrid device management solutions in a consulting capacity.
  • In-depth knowledge of Universal Print and experience in optimizing print infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of Zero Trust security principles and experience in implementing robust security controls, including CrowdStrike integration.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as effective communication abilities.
