Sr Software Engineer Chicago, IL (Remote) Contract
Role : -
We are seeking a skilled Sr Software Engineer with expertise in interest rate derivatives to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of hands-on experience in developing robust, scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies. You will work on high-performance systems, leveraging microservices, container technologies, and cloud platforms to deliver cutting-edge financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities: -

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications focused on interest rate derivatives.
• Build and optimize microservices-based architectures using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework.
• Implement real-time interaction features using web sockets, long-polling, or server-sent events.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Optimize applications for scalability, low latency, and high availability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in distributed systems.
• Continuously explore and adopt new technologies to enhance solutions.

Required Qualifications: -

• Education: Bachelor s degree in Engineering (any stream).
• Experience: 4-5 years of hands-on development experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework.

Technical Skills: -

• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework.
• Good knowledge of interest rate derivatives and financial products.
• Hands-on experience with Angular for front-end development.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with RDBMS like MySQL.
• Working experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS Cloud.
• Proficiency in developing microservices and containerized applications.
• Strong understanding of real-time interaction technologies (web sockets, long-polling, server-sent events).
• Solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and low-level design principles.
• Experience with distributed technologies, low-latency systems, and highly scalable architectures.
• Exposure to AI Tools and Technologies will be preferred.
