Role: Data Architect

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data architecture frameworks, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
- Define data modeling standards, metadata management, and master data management (MDM) strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data solutions.
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for data integration from various sources.
- Oversee implementation of data lakes, data warehouses, and cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security policies.
- Partner with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to ensure consistent and reliable data delivery.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging data technologies and best practices.
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in data management, including 3+ years as a Data Architect.
- Strong experience with data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical) using tools like ERwin, PowerDesigner, or Lucidchart.
- Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, Snowflake, or Google BigQuery.
- Expertise in SQL and proficiency with ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, Talend, Azure Data Factory, etc.).
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and metadata management.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB) and data lake architectures.
- Familiarity with Python, Spark, or Databricks is a plus.
- Experience in data mesh, data fabric, or real-time streaming architectures (Kafka, Kinesis).
- Certification in AWS Data Analytics, Azure Data Engineer, or Google Cloud Data Engineer.
- Prior experience in enterprise-level data modernization or migration projects.
