Field Service Engineer

Seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer with strong electrical and troubleshooting experience to commission, service, and support Central Inverter Systems at customer sites. This role requires frequent travel to job sites, working directly with contractors, and representing the company during system start-up and technical support activities.

Key Details:
  • Schedule: Full-time, travel up to 75% (including some overnight trips; occasional short-notice travel).
  • Compensation: Straight salary.
  • Per Diem: Provided for travel.
  • Degree Requirement: 2-year electrical degree or 5+ years of equivalent commercial electrical experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform commissioning, inspection, and testing of Central Inverter Systems.
  • Troubleshoot AC/DC circuits, PLCs, motors, drives, and control systems.
  • Install remaining components and ensure system compliance with specifications.
  • Provide remote and on-site technical support to customers and contractors.
  • Document activities, manage expenses, and communicate findings to Engineering.

Qualifications:
  • Strong electrical knowledge
  • Familiar with electrical safety standards.
  • Proficient with hand-held electrical measurement devices.
  • Experience working with contractors and vendors.
