Job Details

ay-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Provide remote support to corporate employees and retail store locations, averaging 30 calls per day (approximately 600 per month)
  • Support typical store setups with printers, wireless access points, and desk phones
  • Remote into systems using tools such as Dameware and RDP
  • Perform basic network troubleshooting steps (device reboots, IP checks, ping tests) prior to escalation to vendors or ISPs
  • Troubleshoot ISP and network connectivity issues including modems, SonicWall firewalls, PoE switches, VPN access, and basic internal application support

Requirements

  • 1+ years of IT support experience
  • Basic windows support active directory, password resets, account lockouts, security group permissions, basic email support
  • Basic understanding and experience with networking; genuine interest in continuing to learn networking fundamentals.
  • Ping tests understand what ping tests tell them, traceroute, IP configuration/understand how Ips work, login issues, machine builds and configurations.

  • Experience supporting network and local printers
