Description
Our client is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide technical assistance and support for end-users within the organization. This role is responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring seamless operation of IT systems, and maintaining the Microsoft Suite applications critical to business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft Suite applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc.).
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
Assist with network connectivity problems and basic server administration.
Maintain system security, including user access controls and software updates.

Done
Support remote users with VPN access and cloud-based applications.
Document technical issues, solutions, and IT procedures for future reference.
Collaborate with IT teams to implement system upgrades and patches.
Train employees on best practices for Microsoft Suite and other IT tools.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience).
1-3 years of experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk roles.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite and Windows operating systems.
Experience with network troubleshooting and basic server administration.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Active Directory and Office 365 administration.
Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and remote desktop support tools.
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
