Work Flexibility: Hybrid

As a Service Delivery Lead, BI & Analytics, you will lead Azure production support to ensure the successful delivery of services with the Azure platforms and the attainment of agreed KPIs. In this role, you will tap into your h hands-on experience with Azure Synapse, Databricks, PowerBI and Azure Data Factory (ADF). You will manage the execution and delivery of data and analytics services. You will also oversee the analytics and reporting platforms and drive continuous improvements to support the global data analytics strategy and roadmap while collaborating with IT partners to ensure smooth support services.

What you will do

Strategic IT & Vendor Management
  • Manage relationships and contracts with IT vendors to ensure optimal service delivery and performance, as a subject matter expert in Azure data warehouse solutions.
  • Work closely with the IT Service Delivery leadership and support teams to manage daily support and maintenance of application instances and conduct long-term improvement operations to ensure compatibility with evolving mission requirements.
  • Continuously improve the customer experience by maturing operations through automation, self-service, and shift-left approaches.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the system process flow, performance, and technical efficiencies.
  • Drive adherence to global governance/release management processes to ensure system integrity.

Azure-Based Solutions & Architecture
  • Offer best practices, advice, and recommendations to the Managed Services team regarding the overall architecture and strategy of Azure-based solutions.
  • Design, improve, and maintain Azure-based data warehouse solutions.
  • Implement, monitor, and optimize workflows using Azure Synapse, Databricks, Power BI, and Azure Data Factory (ADF).

Application Development & Performance Optimization
  • Design and develop reusable custom application components that meet customer requirements while upholding high standards of reliability, security, maintainability, and performance.
  • Investigate and resolve complex technical issues and bugs, ensuring the stability and reliability of applications and data warehouse solutions.

Service Excellence:
  • Ensure roadmap for service is defined and communicated with stakeholders using their inputs and demand as drivers.
  • Monitor vendor performance against agreed expectations (contractual or otherwise) including regular vendor meetings to review expectations and performance.

What you need

Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 4+ years of technical experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse and PowerBI.
  • Experience working within a managed service model.
  • Experience working in a highly matrixed organization.

Preferred:
  • Masters' Degree.
  • Experience with Azure Data Platform (ADF).
  • Experience in an ITIL-based service management role, like Service Level Management.

$100,500.00 - $215,300.00 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Travel Percentage: 10%
