Are you looking to break into IT and gain real-world experience with a large-scale technology project? We're partnering with a client in Madison, WI that's kicking off a Windows 11 deployment project across 600+ devices-and they're looking for hands-on tech support to join the team!

Responsibilities:
Prepare and configure incoming hardware by unboxing, asset tagging, and imaging devices.
Evaluate and decommission machines that are incompatible with Windows 11.
Execute in-place upgrades to Windows 11 across the organization's devices.
Provide direct support to end users, ensuring a smooth and efficient migration experience.
Collaborate with IT specialists to receive guidance and training throughout the deployment process.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and operating systems.
Maintain accurate records of device configurations and upgrades.
Assist in managing and tracking inventory for hardware and software assets.
Adhere to company standards and procedures to ensure consistent and reliable support.
Work within established ticketing systems to document and monitor progress.
Requirements
At least 1 year of academic or relevant experience in IT or technical support.
Familiarity with PC imaging processes gained through school, internships, or prior work.
Basic understanding of Windows operating systems, including installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
Strong communication and customer service skills with a focus on professionalism.
Detail-oriented with a reliable and proactive work ethic.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technology and processes.
Experience with hardware rollouts, mass deployments, or ticketing systems is a plus.
Entry-level IT certifications, such as A+, are highly desirable.
