SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Specialist || New York, NY
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop end to end Master Data Management (MDM) solutions using SAP MDG.
- Configure MDG components including data models, governance workflows, validations, and business rules.
- Implement match & merge rules, survivorship logic, hierarchy management, and data stewardship processes.
- Integrate SAP MDG with SAP ERP, S/4HANA, and external systems using SAP BODS, ETL tools, APIs, and messaging platforms.
- Utilize SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) services for integration, data management, and application development.
- Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to define and manage master data domains (Business Partner, Finance etc.).
- Ensure compliance with data governance, quality, lineage, and regulatory standards. Provide production support and deliver enhancements for existing MDG solutions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, test cases, and deployment artifacts.
Qualifications:
- Strong experience in SAP MDG and Master Data Management platforms.
- Hands-on expertise in SAP BTP, SAP ERP/S4HANA, and integration tools.
- Solid understanding of data governance, data quality frameworks, and compliance standards.
- Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Snowflake, Data Bricks) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
