Senior Systems Engineer

Role Overview: Seeking a skilled Senior Systems Engineer to design, develop, and document a cloud-based Microsoft 365 and Azure environment. Requires expertise in Azure AD, Intune, Microsoft Defender, SaaS administration, endpoint security, and cloud automation, with intermediate networking skills. Experience with Cisco, Ubiquiti, or SonicWall and familiarity with Microsoft Purview is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Architecture & Infrastructure: Design and document cloud-native environments, ensuring scalability, security, and SOX compliance.


• Security & Compliance: Implement security policies using Intune and Microsoft Defender; manage IAM in Azure AD; ensure SOX compliance.


• Networking: Maintain network infrastructure (Cisco, Ubiquiti, SonicWall); ensure secure connectivity.


• Change Management: Follow enterprise change control processes; document IT controls and compliance procedures.


• Automation: Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Graph API, Terraform, or Bicep.


• Support: Monitor system performance and security; provide troubleshooting support.

Qualifications:

• Required: Bachelor's degree in a related field, 8+ years in Microsoft 365 and Azure AD, expertise in Azure AD, Intune, Microsoft Defender, and networking.


• Preferred: Experience with Salesforce, Aspen, CREO, Windchill, Microsoft Purview, Zero Trust models, and ITIL certification. Relevant Microsoft certifications are a plus.
