Description

Position Summary:
The IT Operations Manager is responsible for coordinating efforts between executive leadership, cross-functional teams, and vendors to plan and implement IT solutions. This role ensures the operational stability of business applications and IT infrastructure, minimizing downtime. It also involves project management responsibilities, including oversight of scope, schedule, and budget for IT initiatives. This position reports directly to executive leadership.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee IT applications and infrastructure, including both on-premises and cloud-based environments
Manage relationships with IT vendors for Help Desk support and project execution
Lead and coordinate IT projects with internal teams and external partners
Contribute to the development and execution of the IT vision and roadmap
Assist in setting and managing the IT budget
Monitor and control project scope, schedule, and budget
Identify and manage project risks using a risk registry or similar tool
Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders
Deliver hands-on technical support for hardware, software, and network issues to ensure minimal disruption
No direct reports initially, but potential for team leadership in the future
Required Skills and Abilities:

Proficiency in IT systems, networks, and infrastructure, including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Active Directory, Azure or AWS, databases, Windows servers, Windows and MacOS, IT security, Wi-Fi, and telephony
Experience with Netsuite is a plus
Familiarity with vendor-supported IT tools and services
Strong project planning and management capabilities
Analytical problem-solving skills
Experience in cross-functional collaboration and team coordination
Effective communication skills to bridge technical and business needs
Budget management experience preferred
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
5+ years of experience managing IT projects, ideally in mid-sized to large organizations
Service-oriented mindset with a hands-on, proactive approach
Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in a Computer or Information Science-related field required
Minimum of three years of relevant experience required
