Project Overview

We are supporting Trinity Group Construction, the prime contractor executing a major redesign effort within an existing 4-story data center owned by H5 Data Centers. The facility has been in service for 20+ years and is undergoing a significant interior reconfiguration.

A recent redesign change-order from the end client has created immediate needs for additional onsite leadership. Work is being performed 24/7 across multiple floors, and crews are currently wrapping up demolition on Floors 2 3, with Floor 4 completed and handed off. Floor 1 build-out will begin in the next 1 2 months.

To support this accelerated schedule, we are adding two Construction Superintendents, primarily focused on night shift operations for whitespace build-outs.

Role: Construction Superintendent

Shift Structure

• Start: 1 week of onboarding/training on day shift

• Permanent Assignment: Night shift

• Day Shift Hours: 6:00 AM 4:30 PM

• Night Shift Hours: 4:30 PM 3:00 AM

• Rotation: 4 nights on / 3 nights off, alternating with the other Superintendent

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee nighttime whitespace build-out activities, supervising 30 40 trades personnel, supported by 2 onsite safety staff.

• Ensure work aligns with the updated redesign plans; identify issues early and escalate as needed.

• Maintain continuity between day and night shifts, relaying accurate updates to the Dayshift Senior Superintendent (Adam).

• Provide quality control and oversight overnight while heavier, more technical work is performed during daytime hours.

• Uphold site safety, enforce PPE requirements, and ensure work is completed to project standards.

Requirements

• Experience:

• 3+ years with a relevant degree OR

• 5+ years construction experience with a high school diploma

• Background:

• Data Center + Construction experience preferred, or

• Strong Superintendent background without data center experience

• Certifications:

• OSHA 30 preferred, OSHA 10 acceptable

• PPE: Steel-toe boots, safety vest, gloves

Soft Skills

• Highly reliable, punctual, and consistent.

• Strong independent decision-making ability when senior leadership is not onsite.

• Excellent communication skills, especially in relaying detailed shift updates.

• Ability to maintain calm, organized oversight in a fast-paced, high-urgency environment.
