Position Title: SAP Development Lead

Location: Tampa, FL Onsite Role

Duration: 12+ Months

Job Description:

• Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain cloud applications using SAP BTP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP), including creating and managing OData services, CDS (Core Data Services) views, and custom business logic.
• Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, and translate them into technical solutions and application designs.
• Integration: Implement and manage integrations between SAP BTP applications and other systems or services, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor application performance, identify areas for improvement, and optimize applications to enhance speed, efficiency, and user experience.
• Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure functionality, stability, and adherence to specifications.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for application design, development, and deployment processes, including user guides and technical specifications.
• Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed applications, addressing issues, performing updates, and ensuring long-term reliability.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in software development with a focus on SAP BTP, particularly with the Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP CAP, including knowledge of SAP Fiori, SAP Cloud Application Programming (CAP) SDK, Node.js, and Java. Familiarity with SAP HANA and OData services is also important.
• Development Skills: Experience with programming languages and frameworks relevant to SAP CAP, such as JavaScript/Node.js, Java, or ABAP.
• Integration Skills: Knowledge of SAP integration technologies and protocols (e.g., SAP Cloud Integration, REST APIs, SOAP).
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex technical challenges effectively.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
