IT Manager

Description

We are looking for a skilled IT Manager to oversee and enhance our organization's technology infrastructure. This role requires a hands-on leader with expertise in network management, system administration, and team leadership. Based in Morton, Washington, the position will be largely on-site.

Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain the organization's Microsoft Active Directory network, ensuring optimal performance and security.

Oversee network segmentation, routing, firewalls, and switching to ensure seamless connectivity and data flow.

Configure and manage Cisco and Fortinet hardware, with training provided for specific vendor systems if needed.

Lead and mentor a team, leveraging at least three years of management experience to drive productivity and collaboration.

Develop and refine technical documentation, including policies, procedures, and system guidelines.

Administer and troubleshoot Hyper-V environments to support virtualized workloads.

Implement and maintain VLAN, DHCP, and DNS configurations.

Provide input for network-related strategies and improvements.

Ensure compliance with organizational IT standards and best practices.

Requirements

Must haves:

• 6+ years of experience in support of a Microsoft Active Directory Network, experience with Hyper-V, DNS, DHCP
• Solid Networking experience - Network segmentation, firewalls, switching routing, VLAN's
• Cisco/Fortinet hardware (preferred) - need to have at least firewall operations experience, specific vendors are a nice to have, willing to train on Cisco/Fortinet
• Ideally 3+ years of management experience (could be IT Management or not)
• 5+ years of documentation experience - can give input on policies and procedures

• Fortinet FCP
