Akkodis is seeking a DevOps Eng for a Contract with a client in Englewood Cliff, NJ. You willautomate infrastructure deployments and manage cloud environments using AWS and provisioning tools like CloudFormation.
Rate Range: $41/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

DevOps Eng job responsibilities include:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, test, and deployment processes.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure using AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, and CloudFront.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like CloudFormation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Monitor and troubleshoot microservices and n-tier systems to ensure high availability and performance.
- Automate operational tasks using scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Perl to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Agile development practices and ensure secure, scalable deployments.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and automation.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, CloudFront) and Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, Perl) and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
