Senior DataBricks/SQL

Introduction

We are seeking a Senior DataBricks/SQL engineer with 3 to 5+ years of experience in software development, data analytics, and cloud development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Databricks, Python, SQL, and cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement large-scale applications or data engineering solutions
  • Utilize SQL for data analytics and work with various data platforms such as Teradata, Cassandra, MongoDB, Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, ADLS, and Azure Data Explorer
  • Work on cloud development and data lake projects, with a focus on Microsoft Azure tools like EventHub, Data Factory, Databricks, Blob Storage, Power BI, Azure Functions, etc.

Requirements

Required Skills

  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in software development, Agile, and DevOps
  • Experience in designing, developing, and implementing large-scale applications or data engineering solutions
  • 3 to 5+ years of data analytics experience using SQL
  • Experience working with data platforms such as Teradata, Cassandra, MongoDB, Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, ADLS, and Azure Data Explorer
  • 3 to 5 years of cloud development and data lake experience, primarily in Microsoft Azure

Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency in Databricks and Python
  • Experience with cloud technologies
