2E and AS400 Technical Architect/SME

Experience Requirements:

1. 4+ years' experience with AS400 systems.
2. 4+ years' experience as a 2E Developer.
3. 4+ years' experience writing and running SQL.
4. Experience with the state's workers compensation system preferred.

Performance Requirements:

The consultant shall perform the following:

1. Provide technical assistance with the existing DOLIR AS/400 environments.
2. Provide support for the DWC Modernization project.
3. Provide analysis of the legacy system to support all phase of DWC Modernization.
4. Provide analysis of the AS/400 system.
5. Write efficient SQL queries as needed.
6. Write 2E code as needed.
7. Manage test environments to facilitate the development and testing of back-bridging between Work Comp Connect (WCC) and the legacy solution.
8. Run AS/400 extracts and load into a staging area as needed.
9. Schedule AS/400 extracts at pre-determined dates, times and/or intervals as needed.
10. Create scripts for updates between the WCC and legacy systems, detailing the management of data transfers as part of back-bridging.
11. Analyze data relationships.
12. Provide effective communication to technical developers and business staff.
13. Attend meetings with ITSD and business staff.

Technical Environment Requirements:

Depending upon the agency preference, either State owned Microsoft ADO or JIRA shall be used to record, track and resolve issues, bugs and defects.

All AS400 applications in production are developed with the following:

• RPG using the 2E tool
• IBM CL language
• SQL/IBM Query Tool
• AS400 GUI Presto Tool and Java scripting using JQuery
