Join Trane Technologies as a Manufacturing Engineer in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you will operate innovative engineered systems and develop, coordinate, and implement sustainable manufacturing production processes. Your cross-functional team will be focused on delivering quality, safety, and operational efficiency improvements.

Where is the work:
This position has been designated as On-Site in Charlotte, NC.
What you will do:
- \n
- Provide timely resolution of manufacturing process and product design problems, including investigations, statistical studies, and corrective action planning. \n
- Create cost-effective and safe manufacturing processes, equipment, and tools to improve manufacturing operations. \n
- Design manufacturing flow lines, workstation layouts, and station controls that optimize efficiency, operating costs, and product quality. \n
- Uphold manufacturing standards, including machine capability, process maps, set-ups, quality controls, tooling, fixture records, routings, and cycle times. \n
- Generate work instructions, job breakdowns, and standardized work to ensure quality at the source meets product and manufacturing specifications, given local needs. \n
- Serve as a voice of the customer for input on new design development. \n
- Partner with on-site EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) to ensure all equipment meets safety regulations compliant with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration). \n
What you will bring:
- \n
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment \n
- PFMEA experience preferred \n
- Ability to accurately assess manufacturing issues related to process and design \n
- Effective communication at multiple levels coupled with the ability to build relationships. \n
- Growth mindset - desire to expand technical skillset. \n
- Results-driven to maintain accountability and customer focused \n
- Degree preferred in Engineering or related technical disciplines \n
- We prioritize practical experience and relevant skills. Candidates without a degree are encouraged to apply. \n
Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $62,000 - $109,950
Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, or geographic location where the work is performed.
