About the role:
We are seeking two (2) highly motivated individuals to work on technology and process development activities within our Electrical Process Development Group at the Boston Scientific Arden Hills facility. These are positions in a growing segment of our business that is responsible for delivering best-in-class technologies and processes to support both internal and external divisions with products ranging from pulse generators, ablation and diagnostic catheters, and mapping and navigation systems to diagnostic devices and equipment.
These positions will be responsible for providing electrical and electronic engineering support and expertise in the definition, design, development, and test of products. In addition, these positions will be responsible for developing capable technologies and processes to ensure efficient and effective transfer of product into production.
At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows an onsite work model requiring employees to be in our local office five days per week.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Assess process capabilities, prioritize process improvement opportunities, and innovate and implement process improvements on multiple and moderately complex processes
- Apply technical knowledge to innovate, design, and develop processes, procedures, fixturing, and/or automation
- Execute the functional deliverables associated with the PDP/TDP, Project Management, and Quality Systems
- Prepare and present technical data and recommendations at technical reviews
- Write validation protocols and reports applicable to new processes
- Ensure proper documentation is completed to meet quality systems requirements (e.g., Requirements, BOMs, Validation Plans and Reports, FMEAs, etc.)
- Oversee development builds associated with the project using special work requests
- Develop qualified production lines
- Provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) input to the engineering print package
- Train and/or provide work direction to technicians and may train manufacturing personnel when required as part of a validation
- May serve as core team member or extended team member on new product projects
Required qualifications:
- BS in Engineering (or closely related field) with electrical focus
- 5+ Years' relevant work experience
- Experience in LabVIEW and/or Python or C/C++ programming experience
Preferred qualifications:
- BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
- Software and systems experience; equipment and fixturing design
- Process Development, equipment validations, and process characterization experience
- Experience with schematic and circuit board layout (for example Altium, Cadence)
- Experience with Design Analysis Testing (DAT) and Design Verification Testing (DVT)
- Data driven individual; statistical analysis experience
