Job Title: Oracle SFP Software Developer (Remote 18-Month Contract)
Term of Engagement: 18 Months
Work Location: 100% Remote

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with strong experience in supporting and enhancing the Oracle Student Financial Planning (SFP) platform. This role will focus on development, integration, and operational support of Oracle SFP and related systems. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Groovy and SQL, possesses strong analytical and communication skills, and thrives in an agile, ticket-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide development and operational support for Oracle SFP and associated applications, integrations, reports, and configurations.

  • Reverse engineer and analyze existing code, scripts, and processes to identify optimization opportunities.

  • Develop and enhance solutions using Groovy, SQL (MS SQL or Oracle SQL), and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).

  • Document technical solutions, create operational guides, and maintain system documentation.

  • Manage and track development and support tasks through Jira.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure stable and efficient system performance.

Required Skills & Experience (No Flexibility):

  • Strong hands-on experience with Groovy scripting and SQL (MS SQL or Oracle SQL).

  • Proven background in software development and production/operational support.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Experience Preferred:

  • Hands-on experience with Oracle SFP.

  • Experience with Java, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and Oracle BI Publisher (BIP).

  • Familiarity with Oracle Fusion framework, enterprise job schedulers, and incident management processes.

  • Background in Financial Aid systems and Higher Education.

  • Experience with Oracle APEX, Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing, Oracle BI Enterprise Manager, and Tableau.

  • Proficiency with GitHub and Jira for version control and issue tracking.

  • Round 2: Technical interview with Manager, Technical Lead, and Team Programmer
