Job Details

SAP MM VIM

Location: Denver, CO ONISTE 2 days a week Travel will be reimbursed

Duration: 6+ months

Rate: DOE (Expenses paid)

JD for SAP MM & VIM

Main areas of responsibility:

  • Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP MM and VIM modules.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements independently (Mandatory skill)
  • Ability to drive Design workshops independently with the client (Mandatory skill)
  • Must be able to prepare the Pre-read materials for the design workshops independently (Mandatory skill)
  • Must be able to use Mural for the workshops
  • Must send out the Meeting Minutes of the Workshop (post each workshop that he/she leads) Mandatory
  • Follow-up on the action items from the workshops
  • Configure SAP MM processes, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics invoice verification.
  • Configure and support OpenText VIM solutions, including invoice capture, approval workflows, and exception handling.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants and client team members
  • Integrate VIM with SAP FI and MM modules for seamless invoice processing.
  • Integration: Ensure smooth integration with SAP modules like General Ledger, AP
  • Documentation: Must be able to create Functional Design Docs (FDDs) and Functional Specifications (to address Fit-gaps via RICEFW developments) independently. Ensure industry and technology best practices are followed for development work
  • Testing and Validation: Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans to validate system functionality and performance.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they are proficient in using the new system.
  • Change Management: Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and systems.
  • Post-Go-Live Support: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting post-implementation to ensure system stability and user satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with client policies, procedures, and best practices

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Around 15 20 years of SAP MM with at least 3 full lifecycle implementations.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with OpenText VIM.
  • Strong understanding of P2P (Procure-to-Pay) processes.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA is Mandatory.
  • Proficiency in writing functional specifications for RICEFW objects.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage client expectations effectively.

Preferred Skills:

  • SAP MM or VIM certification (preferred)
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project methodologies.
  • Basic understanding and knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
