Tableau SME Infrastructure & Performance Optimization
Location: Remote
Duration: Longterm
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in BI/Analytics with at least 3 5 years as a Tableau Server Administrator/SME.
- Strong understanding of Tableau Server architecture, clustering, high availability, and performance tuning.
- Experience in monitoring tools (e.g., TabMon, Performance Recorder, Resource Monitoring Tool).
- Proficiency in Windows/Linux server environments, networking, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform).
- Hands-on experience with scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for automation and diagnostics.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with ability to interpret server logs and query performance.
- Familiarity with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.) and data warehousing concepts.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills to convey technical findings to diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Tableau Desktop certification and/or Tableau Server Certified Associate/Professional.
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments or regulated industries (e.g., Healthcare, Finance).
- Knowledge of DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines related to BI deployments.
