IO Datasphere, Inc. has been providing project management, software development and IT staff augmentation services to our clients in the Midwest and throughout the U.S. since 1996. We are an approved vendor on contract to provide software development and IT staff augmentation services for the States of Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. We also provide these services to businesses, as well as local and county governments, in the Midwest and nationwide.

Our client is looking for an experienced project manager for a long-term engagement 3 to 4 years or more to join the Application & Client Services team. The ideal candidate must be hands-on, self-starter, and team player possessing both technical and interpersonal skills.

Tasks

• Under supervision, the project manager will be a key contributor supporting our applications
• Identification of the technical approach to be used on a given project and manage the system development process
• Advocate for change and effectively communicate project value, including navigating individual viewpoints and building consensus.
• Manage tasks and resources related to support, maintenance, and enhancements of existing applications.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Must be flexible and able to meet deadlines set by internal and external agencies to align information technology solutions with business initiatives
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including developers, product owners, and subject matter experts.
• Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams and interact at all levels.

Environment: CA Clarity Portfolio Management, Azure DevOps, MS Visio, Microsoft 365 Services, SharePoint Online, MS Teams, Agile Methodologies

NOTE: Local candidates only. This is a hybrid work environment with a minimum of 2 days on-site.

Contract: 4+ years

Skills Required:

• 5+ years - Large scale platform modernization experience.
• 5+ years - Agile experience.
• 5+ years - Experience managing a variety of projects, including request for proposals (RFPs), contract/scope development, infrastructure upgrades, application enhancements and new development, and implementation of COTS/vendor applications with multiple integrations.
• 5+ years - Understanding in the areas of project management methodology, web application programming, content management systems, API, database, and system design.

Skills Desired A plus to have:

• Experience with CA Clarity Portfolio Management
• Experience with Azure DevOPs
• Experience with MS Visio, Microsoft 365 Services, SharePoint Online, MS Teams
